Nan Adel

Nan Adel was born in New Jersey but grew up in the West Park area of Cleveland, Ohio. She and her ex-husband raised their sons in a west-side suburb of Cleveland. Her first two books take place on the west side of Cleveland. I guess she's a Clevelander through and through. But she now lives northwest of Chattanooga, Tennessee, with her husband. They love the mountain views here.

She writes about time travel because it fascinates her. Nan first got into it after reading TIME AND AGAIN by Jack Finney. The way he wrote, it almost sounded like non-fiction, like it really happened. Then she fell in love with the movie, SOMEWHERE IN TIME, with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour.

The first two books in her series, TIME RUNS BOTH WAYS, came to her in a dream while wide awake, and the story grew. Books 1 & 2 were originally one long novel on Kindle. To have it published in paperback, it was suggested she split it into two books. She ended THE FOREVER COTTAGE in a place where it would not leave the reader hanging (Nan hates cliffhangers). The story continues in BOOK 2, THE SECRET. Book 3, THE TRIPLETS, came out July 1, 2025. Nan is near the end of writing the fourth and final book in this continuing series. She loves creating these stories -- It's even better if others love them too.
